Frederick Honors College at Pitt-Greensburg Application

If you would like to increase your chances for admission to FHC-Pitt Greensburg, it is also in your best interest to apply as early as possible.

The FHC Pitt-Greensburg is a part of the Frederick Honors College on the Pittsburgh campus. As such, the Frederick Honors College will confer their honors degree, and students will be able to transfer directly into the Frederick Honors College if they choose to relocate to the Pittsburgh campus.

Admission to FHC-Pitt Greensburg is highly competitive. It is based on the academic credentials you have already entered and your response to the required essay.

For first-year applicants who wish to apply for admission to the FHC-Pitt Greensburg, we recommend submitting a complete FHC-Pitt Greensburg application by March 15th. Admission materials received after this March 15th will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Students meeting the March 15th deadline will receive notification of their FHC-Pitt Greensburg admission decision on or before April 15th.

As a transfer student from another academic institution, you can apply for the Frederick Honors College degree program as part of your regular application to Pitt. Transfer applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are considered for fall-term admission. Applications must be submitted no later than June 1st. Students meeting this deadline will receive notification of their FHC-Pitt Greensburg admission decision on or before June 15th.
