This form is to be used for request inquiries by
University of Pittsburgh Schools/Departments/Organizations
interested in utilizing space in Hillman Library for events.
Any non-Pitt organizations interested in utilizing space in Hillman Library for an event, must be sponsored by a University of Pittsburgh School/Department/Organization. The sponsoring school/department/organization should complete the request.
All events held in Hillman Library must include or collaborate with Library services, materials/resources, or personnel.*
If the associated event for which the inquiry is being made for does not already have an established relevant connection with the Library, the requestor is welcome to propose ways in which the Library can be incorporated into the event and/or inquire within this form about relevant ways in which the Library could potentially be incorporated into the event.
The inclusion or collaboration with Library services, materials/resources, or personnel does not guarantee that the request will be accepted.
*Certain requests may be exempt
The University Library System will review inquiries on a case-by-case assessment and we reserve the right to accept/deny the request based on several determining factors either directly or indirectly related to the event.
