If you are a Pitt employee working remotely, or even partly remotely, you might miss the companionship that is inherent in going to work and experiencing the socialization, information, and commiseration that come with talking to other people in the same workplace. The Mental Wellness Task Force has created a forum called Pitt’s Online Water Cooler to remedy this situation. Here’s what it looks like: Every two weeks, we gather on Teams during a lunch hour just to talk. Come for as long as you can, up to about 45 minutes. This is not meant to be a structured program, just an opportunity to interact with similarly situated Pitt employees and feel less isolated. Note that by gathering on an irregular schedule, we are aiming to make this available for lots of people to at least come some of the time. Do you want to give it a try? If so, please provide your name and email address on this form so that we can add you to the mailing list.
