Thank you for your interest in this project.  Our goal is to better understand the experiences of students with lived experience of psychiatric disabilities in mental health related training programs (social work, counseling, psychology, public health, psychiatry, etc.).  Specifically, we are interested in better understanding the experience of classroom learning focused on diagnoses (/specific psychiatric disabilities) that the participant has direct personal experience with.  For example, a student learning about the assessment and/or diagnosis of "borderline personality disorder" who has been diagnosed with it.  This is a student-led project undertaken in the context of a graduate mental health policy course under the supervision of Dr. Nev Jones, University of Pittsburgh.  Participation is purely voluntary and no identifying information will be collected.

Please email the project lead, Charlie Clement (cjc204@pitt.edu) or Dr Jones (nevjones@pitt.edu) with any questions.
