Acknowledgement of Summer Approval Request

Any subsequent approval is only valid if you meet the following requirements:
- Be below 90 completed credits at Pitt at the end of the Spring term.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 at the end of the Spring term.
- Have less than 60 credits transferred from a community college and/or in combination with 90 credits from a university.
- Have not taken the course at Pitt already, or do not plan to take the course at Pitt.
- You are a current student of the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. If you are currently a student in a different school, please contact your school about their summer approval process.

Please note:
- A maximum of 2 courses (8 credits) will be transferred. Only a grade of "C" or better will be accepted.
- It is the responsibility of the student to verify if their academic department will accept courses if they are planning to use the credit toward their major or minor.
- Courses must be from an accredited, US-based institution. International schools will not be accepted.

I have met the summer approval requirements and am responsible for adhering to them. Any subsequent course equivalency will be void if I do not meet the requirements by the end of the Spring term. I understand this form is the request only, and if approved, I will be contacted via email by Student Records.
